Desha Jackson, Esq. – Ms. Jackson is the Program Manager for DLJ Give to Live Community Foundation. This foundation supports several charitable causes and raises awareness about significant issues affecting women,children, athletes, elderly, the sick and disabled disease and people in poverty to name a few. She is also Chief Executive Officer of DLJ Sports and Entertainment Connection LLC., which provides quality representation, management and consulting services to athletes, coaches and entertainment professionals. DLJ also provides consultation services for entertainment and sports ventures as well as special advisory services to emerging young athletic talent from under-served communities. Aside from her sports and entertainment management work, Ms. Jackson is a practicing attorney in the State of New Jersey with over 15 years of experience. She was named a “Rising Star” in the August 2006-2009 editions of the New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine and listed in the publication, Best Lawyers, in 2009. In addition to these prestigious accolades, Ms. Jackson is the past president of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association and the Association of Black Women Lawyers of New Jersey. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association where she is actively involved in the Entertainment, Sports and Arts Section. Ms. Jackson recently became a founding board member for the Academy of Fashion Industry Careers Charter High School affiliated with the LeGuire Institute of Fashion, Inc.. In her various capacities, she has planned and executed several major media events and functions.

 

Rayshawna Fraser – is a Harlem-New York native who began her flirtation with fashion as a child, customizing her school girl looks with studs and glitter. At 17 yrs. old Fraser started working at Harlem’s famed celebrity staple, Apollo Express Boutique. There Fraser honed in on her talent for color composition and trend forecasting. Before long, fashion became a career. By the time she was 19 yrs. old, Fraser was promoted to assistant buyer making shopping trips to Italy seasonally. Living the GLAAM life! As a stylist to A-list celebrities, Fraser has dressed countless Hip Hop artists, actors and known personalities such as, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Yolanda Adams to name a few. She later expanded her eye for fashion and talent to the entertainment industry as a casting director working in many video and film projects. She attributes every success to a deep relationship with God. GLAAM is a tribute to this divine connection and a movement of positivity that is all inclusive. GLAAM is an acronym for God Loves All And Me. GLAAM is a lifestyle brand which incorporates glamour, spirituality and love into each design. GLAAM aims to motivate people of all ages, genders, races, and sexualities to be confident, spiritual, different and positive in thought. Our goal is to empower others to believe they are loved. This is the GLAAMourous life!

 

Brightside Tavern – Brightside is a Cheers type atmosphere with options of finer dining or having a great time with friends, family or new people you meet in this relaxed friendly atmosphere. Brightside features delicious food, fun drinks and lots of great music. It is part of the gateway to downtown from other areas on Bright Street in Jersey City. Featuring a full entertainment schedule throughout the week including: Monday Nite Jazz, Tuesday night Karaoke, Wednesday Night Special Artist Nite, Open Mic Thursdays, Friday Karaoke and Saturday piano sing alongs. Thee Danielle Baker – Model Resource– Danielle has been in the modeling & fashion industry for over two decades, she has seen the lack of diversity, and witnessed the limitations within the industry. In 2002 is when she began coaching, consulting and producing fashion shows across the nation that catered to models of all shapes, sizes, heights, and ethnicities. This platform provides models the opportunities to gain experiece and be exposed to runway and print work. Building models from the inside out, helping them gain confidence that will last a lifetime. Danielle continues to be a world changer by utilizing her talents and experience for the betterment of others.  Highlights

VB3 Restaurant & Bar– VB3 owned by Chef Michael Colletti and his cousins, Giuseppe “Big Joe” Russo amd Giuseppe “Little joe” Russo and other partners is located in the Monaco building in the “Gold Coast” area of the Jersey City waterfront. It received 3 1/2 stars from the Star Ledger and helped to keep people fed during super-storm Sandy. Chef Colletti was honored as one of the top five chefs in the state by NJ Monthly. Chef Colletti hails from prominent restaurants in New York City, such as Sirio Maccioni’s Le Cirque and Drew Nierporent and Michael Bao’s Mai House. He also worked with celebrity Chef Spike Mendelson when they opened a restaurant in Washington D.C.. While there he participated in First Lady Michelle Obama’s ‘Lets Move Campaign. Under Chef Colletti’s direction, VB 3 serves modern seasonal Italian cuisine in small-plate style meals, rooted in classic family recipes and made with locally-sourced ingredients. VB3 also boasts the best nightlife and bar scence around! Local residents and businesses know where to go for food and fun, whether they are looking for pizza and a beer during the game, a nice romantic dinner, or need to cater a 100+ person event. Now every Sunday they host a brunch Prix Fix menu. Any day of the week is a good day to stop by VB3!!!

 

Tyrone Chablis-Chablis Designs – His distinctive style is sultry, campy, daring and edgy! His experiences while traveling in the Caribbean and throughout Europe influence his unique concepts. His designs grace runways, boutiques and a high profile clientele in the entertainment and private sectors. His swimsuit collections are shown annually in well appointed beachfront and cruise events. Following the path of the legendary Patrick Kelly, Chablis has developed a collection which advocates going green through fashion. The Chablis “green tee” dresses range from simple to extravagant and are crafted from carefully selected recycled t-shirts, generating excitement and pure drama where ever they are shown, sold or worn.

 

Jacqueline Love – Jacqueline Love is the founder of The J.Love Youth Fashion School of Etiquette. The schools mission is to provide an enriching experience for young models and cultivate a spirit of excellence in them. The premiere school seeks to enhance confidence, build leadership and socialization skills. Runway is on aspect of modeling. However, through education and

skill development, J. Love Youth Fashion School of Etiquette seeks to maximize the potential of its part its participants and shape them into professionals. Ultimately, the etiquette acquired at the school will equip the models with the tools necessary to become a force to be reckoned with in various facets of life including but not limited to the entertainment and professional fields.
